British Columbia Innovation Council

Twenty startups located in regional BC are breathing a sigh of relief after learning they've advanced to the third and final round of the second annual BCIC-New Ventures Competition: Regional.  Each company will now be matched with two mentors who they will work with over the next two months as they further develop their business plans and investor pitches. These startups are now preparing for their  chance to win one of three cash prizes to help move their venture forward.  The top 20 companies advancing to the final round are:

BCIC will be catching up with each of the finalists to learn more about their company and particularly what they have learned from the competition to date. The winners will be announced at the BCIC-New Ventures Competition: Regional Award Ceremony on February 22^nd in Kelowna.    Good luck to all the finalists!
