The CONNECT 2010 Keynote Speaker is…
With CONNECT just around the corner, we are excited to announce our keynote speaker.
Here's a hint: What BC-based startup attracted Disney's attention by bringing penguins to life for millions of kids to enjoy?

Yes, that's right. Kelowna's very own Lane Merrifield, Co-Founder and General Manager of Club Penguin will deliver CONNECT's keynote address "Made in BC: The inspiring inside story of how an Okanagan startup caught the eye of Disney and the world." This will be Lane's first time speaking at a conference in BC! Join us at CONNECT to hear how Lane has led the operations, management and business strategy for Club Penguin, one of the most popular and fastest growing virtual worlds for children. Lane helped develop and launch Club Penguin in 2005 and has played an integral role in its phenomenal growth and international success. CONNECT's website will be live soon. Please visit www.connectnext.ca for more information, including the speaker lineup, and check out the CONNECT Twitter and the Facebook event! |
