BCIC is once again supporting the 10th annual New Ventures BC (NVBC) competition offering BC technology entrepreneurs and inventors a chance to win $300,000 in prize packages. The 2010 BCIC Awards will also be handed out this evening.
2010 Canary Derby

The BC technology community is again challenging companies to fight back against cancer by either entering a team or sponsoring the 2010 Canary Derby Weekend. This year, the BC Technology Industry Association and BCIC have joined forces to create ‘Team Roadrunners' to support the cause. The soap box racer was first displayed at BCTIA's Annual Reception on the Water where sponsorship opportunities were sold for logos and signatures to appear right on the car. The grand total of $2600 was raised that evening and it's not too late... donations are still being accepted online and there are still a few spaces available on the winning race car!
