2010 New Ventures BC Awards & 2010 BCIC Awards

BCIC is once again supporting the 10th annual New Ventures BC (NVBC) competition offering BC technology entrepreneurs and inventors a chance to win $300,000 in prize packages. The 2010 BCIC Awards will also be handed out this evening.
The five-month, four-round NVBC competition includes a unique mix of business education, networking and mentoring. The competition is open to any BC resident, team or business with an innovative technology product or service that has not yet secured material financing. The competition this year received 138 applicants and the companies advancing to Round 2 have been announced. On May 10th, the judges will cut down to only 40 companies.
