BCIC-New Ventures' 25 round-three competitors are working on their Round 3 business overviews for submission on August 8th.
Competition judges will announce the 10 finalists on September 4th but in the meantime let's have a closer look at the Top 25. Over the next couple of weeks, BCIC will spotlight each of the 25 finalists. NFC Interactive Inc. develops Near Field Communication (NFC) multimedia solutions, using its line of tags or chips that interact with NFC-enabled smartphones. By simply touching a designated area where a NFC tag is embedded on a poster, display, sign, picture or object, content can be wirelessly transferred to a smartphone and a mobile user can interact with the information without the need for a mobile internet/data connection. The startup's patented tags are different from other NFC tags on the market today, thanks to enhanced data storage capability and specialized features to enhance any mobile marketing campaign.
