BCIC is fostering an environment that encourages people to become entrepreneurs. Through targeted programs and initiatives, BCIC is facilitating job creation, making it easier for entrepreneurs to stay and succeed in BC.

Commercialization of Technology
BCIC advances the commercialization of technology in BC by developing an ecosystem that increases the number and success rate of technology startups in BC, promoting economic development.
BCIC is building a network of incubators inside educational institutions to train students to become entrepreneurs and launch startup companies. BCIC is also building a network of business accelerators to rapidly grow early-stage technology companies.BCIC is playing an instrumental role in facilitating partnerships between academia and industry to solve real world problems through direct and applied research.
