Trademarks
A trademark is a word (or words), a design or a combination of these, used to identify the goods or services of one person or organization. A company name may also be a trademark.
Trademarks are used to distinguish the owner's product or service from their competitor's product or service. Trademarks may indicate that the product or service meets a particular standard of quality and consumers make decisions based on trademarks.
Why is it important?
A trademark is an important asset associated with your product or service, distinguishing your product in the marketplace, ideally leading to brand recognition and impacting a consumer's buying decision.
For more information about trademarks, consult a lawyer.
